Patrick Kenny Leads Lex Mundi Panel Discussion in Germany
Armstrong Teasdale Litigation partner Patrick Kenny led a panel discussion on international dispute resolution at the global Lex Mundi Insurance and Reinsurance Cross-Border Legal Summit, held Sept. 9 and 10, 2013 in Munich. Kenny chairs the Lex Mundi Insurance and Reinsurance Committee, which organized the conference.
Lex Mundi is an international network of 160 law firms operating in more than 100 countries and the summit was attended by lawyers from around the world.
The conference provided corporate counsel and claims professionals from multinational insurers, including Allianz, Munich Re, Swiss Re, RGA, and AIG, the opportunity to address hot topics such as evolving regulatory requirements, entry into emerging markets and structuring of multinational policies.
In his law practice, Kenny focuses on complex business and insurance disputes including non-compete cases, disputes involving business divorces and fraud and business torts. He has tried jury cases to verdict in Missouri and Illinois, handled and supervised numerous appeals and served as a neutral in scores of cases. Kenny is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Insurance Law, is listed a Top Rated Lawyer for commercial litigation by Martindale-Hubbell and American Lawyer Media and is included in Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers. Within Armstrong Teasdale’s administration, Kenny is a member of the Advisory Committee and serves as Co-Chair of the Pro Bono Committee.
Kenny earned his J.D., cum laude, and B.S.B.A. with an emphasis in Chemistry and Operations from the University of Missouri - Columbia. In addition to Lex Mundi, he currently holds various positions with the Defense Research Institute, The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the St. Louis Professional Chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma Chemistry Fraternity.
