Richard Scheff Honored Among ‘Best of the Bar’ by Philadelphia Business Journal

The Philadelphia Business Journal has recognized Litigation Partner and Leader – Eastern U.S. Richard Scheff among its third annual class of Best of the Bar: Philadelphia’s Top Lawyers.

The list honors attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice specialties over the past year. Scheff was recognized in the white-collar litigation defense category. Nominees were honored in this and eight other categories by a three-member panel based on significant and recent achievements, including the legal significance, the size of the results and the business impact of the work.

Scheff is a nationally recognized trial lawyer and corporate adviser whose practice primarily involves government and corporate investigations with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, medical device and financial services industries. He has appeared and handled matters in courts across the country and has represented clients in administrative matters before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Securities Exchange Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of the Comptroller of Currency and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

Scheff will be featured in a special report in the Oct. 25 edition of the Business Journal and will be honored at a reception Oct. 29 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia.
