Salama Gallimore Joins Armstrong Teasdale’s Kansas City Office

Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces the addition of Litigation associate Salama Gallimore. She is a skilled litigator and member of the firm’s Employment and Labor practice area.

Gallimore has extensive experience conducting investigations into allegations of discrimination, including race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, genetic identity, protected veteran status and related retaliation. In addition, she has experience drafting position statements and responses to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Missouri Commission on Human Rights charges.

Gallimore’s deep knowledge of state and federal employment laws, as well as Title IX of the Education Amendments Act, helps her navigate sensitive matters and manage conflict resolution for her clients.

She also has experience training and educating clients, including senior management, human resources and higher education professionals on the policies and regulations that impact their organizations, including nondiscrimination policies and institutional regulations.

Prior to joining the firm, Gallimore served as the director of investigations and deputy Title IX coordinator at the University of Missouri in the Office for Civil Rights and Title IX. During law school, she worked as a legal intern for the Missouri Public Defenders Office (Trial Division) and served as a judicial intern under the Hon. George W. Draper III in the Missouri Supreme Court.

She earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law. Gallimore also holds an M.A. in political science and a B.A. in French and political science from Saint Louis University. She is admitted to practice law in Missouri.

Gallimore is based in the firm’s Kansas City office.
