Two Armstrong Teasdale Las Vegas Attorneys Named Among 2018 Legal Elite
Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces that two attorneys have been named among Nevada Business’ 2018 Legal Elite. The attorneys named include trial lawyers Michelle D. Alarie and Kevin Stolworthy. Alarie was also named to the magazine’s Up and Coming list.
The annual list, now in its 11th year, highlights Nevada’s top attorneys as chosen by their peers.
Alarie is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group providing counsel in complex commercial litigation matters. Her practice includes cases in both federal and state courts, most often involving banking, bad faith insurance and coverage litigation, contract disputes, real property issues, and general business litigation. Committed to effective case management, Alarie is well-versed in all phases of discovery, trial preparation and negotiation of settlements with opposing counsel.
Stolworthy is the Las Vegas office managing attorney and an experienced trial lawyer whose practice encompasses commercial litigation, including class action cases and white-collar criminal defense matters. He represents borrowers, guarantors and financial institutions in real estate and banking law litigation, with an emphasis on deficiency, guarantor and FDIC actions. Stolworthy also serves material suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and developers in cases involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, conspiracy and construction defects. His experience includes defending various business entities against consumer class action lawsuits alleging fraud, false advertising, unfair trade practices and breaches of state and federal consumer protection laws.
The 2018 rankings will appear in the June issue of Nevada Business.
