Two Attorneys Join Armstrong Teasdale in Philadelphia
Armstrong Teasdale announces that Of Counsel Miriam H. Straus and Associate Christopher P. Lynett have joined the firm's Litigation practice in Philadelphia. They are among over 50 attorneys and staff who have joined the firm in 2020.
Straus is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. She is an experienced health care attorney who works with pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, physicians and other health care providers. Straus represents clients in matters such as government investigations, potential violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act lawsuits. Her deep experience in health care is an extension of many years spent in Washington, D.C., in which she drafted policies for the District of Columbia’s Medicaid expansion and health insurance marketplace, and published articles on health care developments.
Lynett is a skilled trial and appellate lawyer with nearly a decade of experience. A former assistant district attorney in Philadelphia, he brings invaluable trial experience to each representation. Lynett’s wide-ranging experience includes shareholder derivative suits, federal criminal cases, habeas corpus, and Social Security, immigration and bankruptcy appeals. While working at the District Attorney’s Office, he litigated over 750 preliminary hearings, evidentiary motions and bench trials in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the Philadelphia Municipal Court.
