Biography
Nicholas Scoullos is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice concentrating on patents, primarily relating to medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing and fabrication, and mechanical systems.
Nicholas’ practice includes counseling, due diligence, opinions, patent preparation and prosecution, and post-issuance proceedings. His background in mechanical engineering and professional experience in electrical engineering and power distribution enable him to understand the critical needs of his clients and advance his project management abilities.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Nicholas was an attorney at a patent boutique in the New York metropolitan area.
Before earning his J.D., Nicholas worked professionally in the electrical engineering and power distribution fields. During law school, Nicholas interned for a law firm and a solo practitioner focusing on patent law, as well as for a university’s in-house patent counsel and for the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic.
