Armstrong Teasdale Elects New Partners, Equity Partners

Armstrong Teasdale proudly announces that the equity partners of the firm have elected Paul Croker, Scott Galt and Sarah Sise to equity partner. In addition, Jaimie Mansfield and Mark Thomas have been elected partners by the firm’s Executive Committee. All of the aforementioned changes are effective Jan. 1, 2019.

Croker is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. He is a trusted legal adviser to clients facing class action and business litigation throughout the country, including enforcement and class actions brought by private parties, attorneys general and governmental agencies. His clients range from small family-owned businesses to national companies. Croker serves clients across various industries, including consumer and commercial finance, banking, construction, real estate and technology.

Galt handles corporate compliance issues and global transactions for foreign and domestic companies in a wide variety of industries and contexts. His knowledge of local legal requirements, including trade regulations and data privacy laws in many countries, helps organizations enhance their worldwide networks in a cost-efficient manner. Galt advises clients on licensing and regulatory needs related to doing business internationally, including in connection with import/export, economic sanctions regimes, anti-boycott laws and anti-bribery laws. He also helps clients navigate cross-border data flows in the wake of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E). In addition, Galt’s litigation experience includes representing corporate and individual fiduciaries, personal representatives, and beneficiaries in a variety of trust and estate disputes.

Sise is a member of the Corporate Services practice group and co-chair of the firm’s Inclusion Committee. She practices exclusively in the heavily regulated and constantly evolving field of employee benefits and executive compensation. She advises a wide range of clients, including closely held companies, tax-exempt organizations and public companies. Sise brings over 20 years of experience to the firm and partners with clients to establish, design and implement qualified retirement plans, non-qualified arrangements, welfare and fringe benefit plans, and executive compensation programs. She also guides clients through plan audits and service provider changes.

Mansfield is a member of the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group and co-leader of the Real Estate, Construction and Development industry team. She assists clients in various real estate-related matters, including zoning and land use applications and approvals, landlord-tenant disputes, eviction proceedings and other real estate-related litigation. Mansfield also represents both condemnors and condemnees in large-scale projects spanning multiple counties or those affecting a single parcel of land. Mansfield also represents lenders and judgment creditors seeking to maximize their recovery against debtors in litigation, liquidation, reorganization and bankruptcy.

Thomas is a registered U.S. patent attorney. He focuses his practice on the litigation of complex intellectual property matters pending in state, federal and appellate courts throughout the United States, as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Within this area, he prosecutes and defends claims of patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement and trade secret misappropriation for private and public companies involving a wide array of technologies including the mechanical, software, electrical and chemical arts.
