Biography
Steven Henderson is a paralegal with more than 25 years of experience in real estate matters and transactions, including in-depth knowledge of cooperative and condominium matters as well as developer and sponsor representation.
Steven has extensive experience serving as transfer agent for cooperatives, and handles all aspects of co-op and condominium transfers. He interacts with co-op boards and building management and regularly prepares proprietary leases, stock certificates, and amendments to proprietary leases, bylaws and certificates of incorporation, as well as other documents, statements and affidavits.
For developer and sponsor clients, Steven works with firm lawyers in the preparation and submission of new construction, conversion and timeshare offering plans and amendments, as well as No-Action Letter applications to the New York State Attorney General’s Office. He is also proficient with the AG Amendment and Payment portals and New York City ACRIS system.
Steven supports clients and lawyers in all stages of real estate transactions, including assisting with title and survey matters on commercial real estate transactions. Steven also has deep knowledge of issues pertaining to development and construction. In addition, Steven is a notary public.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Steven served as a paralegal and paralegal coordinator for a New York-based commercial law firm.
