Biography
Taylor Green is an associate in the Corporate Services practice group who focuses her practice on international trade as well as compliance and risk management.
Taylor is well versed in a broad spectrum of fields including international trade, artificial intelligence (AI), immigration, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She has thorough knowledge and understanding of regulations under the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC), and Customs Border Protection (CBP). She also advises clients on various export controls, imports, foreign investments, and sanctions regimes.
Taylor is adept at drafting and filing licenses, disclosures, notices, reports and registrations for BIS, DDTC, CBP and OFAC, offering her clients robust support in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
Her experience also extends to a high-level understanding of EU and U.K. sanctions programs, enabling her to provide comprehensive counsel on regulatory updates, compliance programs and internal investigations.
In the M&A sector, Taylor’s skills include conducting preliminary due diligence, emphasizing the importance of confidentiality agreements, transaction structuring and the initial stages of negotiation.
In the rapidly evolving AI domain, Taylor possesses a thorough knowledge of legal aspects including governance, ethical frameworks, intellectual property and risk mitigation, particularly in cross-border implementations.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Taylor was an international trade associate at a U.S.-based international corporate law firm. She also served as the assistant director of export controls and international research at Boston College and the risk and compliance counsel at a North American subsidiary of a Japanese life sciences and scientific instrument corporation.
