Biography
As a paralegal in the Financial and Real Estate Services group, Theresa Ritter has experience with regulatory and compliance legal matters, as well as family, personal injury, civil and criminal law. She has been a practicing paralegal for more than 20 years, and is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants.
Theresa supports the firm’s attorneys in a variety of roles pertaining to real estate transactions and public finance transactions, from initial transaction structuring and due diligence review to public records searches and document drafting. Further, Theresa aids attorneys through preparation and publication of offering statements, navigating governmental approval and registration processes, and closing and issuance of obligations. She also completes a variety of post-closing tasks, including filing security and disclosure documents and preparing transcripts.

Background
Prior to joining the firm, Theresa was a paralegal and regulatory analyst for Protective Life, a financial services and life insurance company. She also has previous paralegal experience with The Cox Law Firm and the Charles M. Shaw Law Firm, both in St. Louis.
