Biography
William Bainbridge is a solicitor in the firm’s U.K. Litigation practice with experience handling a broad range of disputes across a variety of industries including aviation, financial services, manufacturing, media and sports.
William has experience advising on and assisting with:
- a spectrum of commercial contractual disputes;
- intellectual property litigation;
- matters of company law, including director’s duties;
- the protection of confidential information and trade secrets;
- fraud and asset tracing;
- shareholder disputes and the options for invoking the departure of shareholders;
- debt recovery and corporate insolvency;
- litigation across multiple jurisdictions;
- professional negligence and regulatory misconduct claims;
- issues of competition law, regulatory compliance and data protection; and
- claims concerning reputational damage, including defamation and malicious falsehood.

Background
Before joining Armstrong Teasdale, William was an associate solicitor at another London law firm that focused on serving startups, scale-ups and entrepreneurs. Prior to that, William spent several years at a U.K. law firm where he worked in both the Commercial Litigation and Corporate departments.
