Biography
An associate in the Corporate Services practice group, Luke Basha focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions, serving both strategic and private equity clients. He represents both strategic and private equity buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border asset and equity M&A transactions, and is experienced in drafting key transaction documents, such as stock and asset purchase agreements and investor rights agreements.
Luke has worked for clients conducting due diligence of domestic and foreign targets, including data room monitoring and drafting disclosure statements. He has also managed corporate governance matters, handling bylaws, board resolutions and written consents.
Following law school, Luke earned an advanced degree in tax law and has years of experience structuring tax-advantaged M&A transactions and advising private equity and strategic clients on tax implications and opportunities.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Luke was an M&A associate at a global Am Law 100 corporate law firm in Atlanta and was also a senior M&A tax associate at a “Big Four” accounting firm in Atlanta.
