As a firm, our core values – integrity, teamwork, entrepreneurship, investment, celebration, perspective, accomplishment and inclusiveness – reflect the attributes we strive to demonstrate each day and those we seek in candidates. At Armstrong Teasdale, you’ll have the opportunity to shape not only your future, but also the future of the business of law.
If you are interested in joining a growing law firm with individuals who are passionate about practicing law and invested in each other’s success, we encourage you to explore the opportunities outlined below and apply.
U.S. Summer Associate Program
Our U.S. summer associate program is more than a summer job. It’s a path to creating long-lasting relationships and building a strong foundation for a successful legal career. It’s an opportunity to apply everything you’ve learned in law school and gain hands-on experience.
Whether you know exactly what area of law you want to practice or are still exploring, our program is designed with flexibility so you get a variety of experiences. To help you discover the legal path that’s right for you, projects are assigned on a weekly rotating schedule from lawyers of all levels, practice areas and professional backgrounds. You’ll also receive coaching and feedback, from informal day-to-day interactions to formal evaluations.
A full schedule of activities enables you to get to know our lawyers and the other summer associates in casual social settings where your only assignment is to have fun and be yourself. The summer curriculum also includes special seminars to teach soft skills, the business of law firms and trends in the legal profession.
Every step of the way, you’ll be immersed in our firm’s culture, from the way we work to the way we celebrate our successes and yours. By the end of the summer, you’ll know what it’s like to be an AT lawyer.
Applications for the U.S. summer associate program are currently closed.
1L LCLD Scholars Program
As part of Armstrong Teasdale’s commitment to recruit and retain diverse talent, we are proud to be members of the 1L Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Scholars Program. This program provides an opportunity for first-year (1L) law students to work alongside experienced legal professionals, build their professional networks and participate in professional development programs. In addition, the scholars gain valuable relationships and resources from LCLD’s network to help them throughout their legal career.
Applications for the 1L LCLD Scholars Program are currently closed.
Armstrong Teasdale’s Carl B. Horton Patent Fellowship
Armstrong Teasdale accepts applications from 1L and 2L law students for the Carl B. Horton Patent Fellowship, in coordination with General Electric. Carl was an extraordinary patent lawyer and friend to many at Armstrong Teasdale. We created this fellowship to honor Carl’s life and legacy, provide opportunities to promising law students, and connect General Electric and Armstrong Teasdale with potential future patent lawyers.
