Armstrong Teasdale Lawyers Named in Chambers USA's 2023 Edition
Armstrong Teasdale announces that 26 of the firm’s lawyers across seven jurisdictions are featured in the 2023 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Of those, three partners – Alicia Ashcraft, Jennifer Byrne and Paul Cambridge – are being recognized for the first time. Chambers USA annually ranks leading law firms and lawyers in various practice areas.
Ashcraft is a skilled transactional, corporate and administrative law attorney. Her practice encompasses complex commercial transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance matters. With more than 20 years of experience representing clients in highly regulated industries such as cannabis and hemp, gaming, liquor and transportation services, Ashcraft advises businesses through all phases of operation – from startups, through financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, land use and licensing. She is also managing attorney of the firm's Las Vegas office.
Byrne concentrates her law practice in mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance, general corporate issues, emerging companies and corporate governance. As leader of the firm’s Corporate Services practice group, she coordinates with the firm’s managing partner to strengthen the group’s planning, execution and operational practices in alignment with strategic goals.
Cambridge provides legal services to clients of all sizes and structures – from entrepreneurial startups to large, publicly held companies. He counsels clients in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities matters, and lending transactions. As the leader of the firm’s Financial Services and Banking industry team, Cambridge works with an interdisciplinary group of lawyers to provide a full range of legal services to clients in the industry, including banks, bank holding companies, credit unions, mortgage companies and other lenders.
In addition to individual honors, eight Armstrong Teasdale practice areas have been recognized by Chambers: Corporate/M&A, Environment, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment, Litigation: General Commercial, Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations, and Real Estate. Three practice areas and five lawyers earned a Band 1 status.
Lawyers can be ranked Band 1-6, with 1 being the best, as well as in an Up and Coming category. According to Chambers, bands are decided based on a number of qualities most valued by clients including legal ability, client service and commitment. Chambers designates further categories in which lawyers can be ranked as exceptional, highly influential lawyers, such as Eminent Practitioner and Senior Statesperson.
