Jennifer Byrne, Mark Stoneman Named to 2025 M&A Power List

Armstrong Teasdale Corporate Services Practice Group Leader Jennifer Byrne and Partner Mark Stoneman have been named to the Missouri Lawyers Weekly 2025 Power List for mergers and acquisitions attorneys. They are among 31 lawyers across the state regarded as the most prominent M&A practitioners.

Byrne and Stoneman have been named to the list every year since 2023.

Byrne is leader of the firm’s Corporate Services practice group. She provides guidance in a broad spectrum of M&A transactions throughout the deal process, from pre-transaction planning to post-closing indemnification claims and disputes. This work includes taking the lead on stock and asset purchases and dispositions, mergers, restructurings, management buyouts, tender offers, going private transactions and other related transactions. She also serves as Missouri local counsel to out-of-state entities engaged in significant transactions involving Missouri companies.

Stoneman facilitates the structuring, financing and completion of acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships. His background in accounting and finance helps him to ensure that the agreements related to these transactions are consistent with his client’s goals and expectations with respect to financial matters. He advises from front-end strategic planning to managing the deal process through favorable execution and closing. Stoneman’s acquisition experience extends to transactions where real estate is a primary or sole asset.
