Dismissal for International Law Firm Client in Malpractice Complaint
Secured a dismissal, with prejudice and without leave to replead, of a legal malpractice complaint against one of the largest international law firms in the world. A former client alleged that the law firm committed legal malpractice in connection with a representation concerning labor relations and a union vote. The former client alleged that the union vote would have turned out differently if the law firm had done certain routine things that labor lawyers consider standard. We argued that this was too speculative, and the court agreed.
