Jaimie Mansfield is a partner in the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group. As former general counsel of a fully integrated private equity commercial real estate company, she brings to all her client engagements a unique understanding of the business issues they face and how she can best serve as a strategic partner on a variety of legal issues.
One of her focus areas is the Cannabis and Hemp Law practice, providing support to clients that are innovative, entrepreneurial and forward thinking. Jaimie strives to serve as her cannabis and hemp clients’ outside corporate counsel, advising on regulatory compliance, corporate formation and governance, and mergers and acquisitions, rooting all of her actions in being a strategic partner.
Jaimie also represents clients with respect to purchase and sale contract negotiations, due diligence, acquisitions, sales, leasing, asset management, zoning and land use applications and approvals, landlord-tenant disputes, eviction proceedings and other real estate-related litigation. She represents both condemnors and condemnees in large-scale projects spanning multiple counties or those affecting a single parcel of land. For all of her real estate clients, Jaimie works to be a "deal-maker" and drives successful, thoughtful resolutions between parties when necessary to get the deal done.
Further, Jaimie represents lenders and judgment creditors seeking to maximize their recovery against debtors in litigation, liquidation, reorganization and bankruptcy, which includes all aspects of post-judgment collection efforts. Possessing in-depth experience in the nuances of collection remedies, she also represents debtors seeking to settle, liquidate and/or reorganize their debts both in and out of the courtroom.
Jaimie rejoined the firm after serving as general counsel to a private equity commercial real estate firm. She first joined the firm in 2015 as an associate and was promoted to partner in 2019.
