Armstrong Teasdale Adds Partner Friedrich Laub in New York
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Partner Friedrich B. Laub, Ph.D., to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group in New York.
Laub works to develop and implement global intellectual property and patent strategies across a wide variety of technologies, such as biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and molecular- and immuno-diagnostics. He also advises clients on IP transactional matters, such as collaboration, licensing, and M&A deals.
He takes a creative and holistic approach to intellectual property management and protection, and he is particularly excited about implementing artificial intelligence-based technologies in freedom-to-operate assessments and patent preparation processes.
Laub’s clients benefit from his doctorate in molecular biology and more than 25 years of combined experience as a scientist in biomedical research, attorney in law firms, and in-house counsel in corporations. His in-house counsel experience provides him with significant business acumen, an understanding of corporate dynamics, and the ability to anticipate clients’ needs.
