Armstrong Teasdale Completes Buildout of Wilmington Office in Historic Chemours Building
Armstrong Teasdale announces the completion of its Wilmington, Delaware, office in the historic Chemours Building, one of the city’s first high-rises. Constructed in 1908, the building is part of the local du Pont family legacy, and is situated in the heart of Wilmington, adjacent to Rodney Square. The offices are located on the third floor and currently house eight lawyers and staff professionals with room for growth.
In 2021, Armstrong Teasdale established a presence in Wilmington with a number of bankruptcy lawyers. Since that time, additional lawyers have joined, further advancing the firm’s intellectual property and corporate governance practices in the region.
“The Delaware courts are incredibly active, the practice here is as sophisticated as anyplace in the country and this move positions our growing team well in the market,” said Richard Scheff, Partner and Leader – Eastern U.S. “We are continuing to add to our roster in Wilmington and broaden the range of services consistent with our international footprint. We are pleased to be in the Chemours Building and invite clients and friends into our new space.”
The look and feel of the Armstrong Teasdale space is consistent with the firm’s brand, including natural light, wood and glass treatments, and signature red accents throughout. The multiuse Chemours Building is also home to a hotel, luxury apartments, restaurants, bars, a salon and day spa, fitness center, bank and UPS Store.
The new office is located at 1007 North Market Street, Wilmington, Delaware, 19801.
