Armstrong Teasdale Elects Two New Partners
Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces the addition of M. Courtney Jackson and Scott T. Jansen to its partnership effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Jackson, a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, provides counsel regarding brand management, strategy and operational issues. For various national and international organizations, she has assisted in the development, maintenance and protection of their trademark portfolios. She gives opinions relating to trademark selection and infringement issues and handles matters related to privacy, terms of use, social media, sweepstakes and contests, marketing, advertising, e-commerce, employment, agency, products liability and premises liability. Jackson, who works in the firm’s St. Louis office, is admitted to practice in Missouri. She received her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and B.A. in English from Loyola University Chicago.
Jansen is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group and focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense. He also handles insurance coverage matters, claims for products liability, business disputes and complex tort matters. A former police officer, Jansen often represents members of the law enforcement community. He works in the firm’s Jefferson City and St. Louis offices, and is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the U.S. District Court, Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri. Jansen received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Missouri School of Law and B.A. from Rollins College. He also graduated from the Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy in 1995.
