AT Tops St. Louis Business Journal’s List of Largest IP, Patent Firms
Armstrong Teasdale has the largest intellectual property practice in the St. Louis area, according to the St. Louis Business Journal. The newspaper's list of largest patent practices, based on number of patent attorneys at local firms in 2019, appeared in the April 10 issue. This is the 13th straight year the firm has ranked at the top of the list.
The Business Journal reported the firm as having 33 local licensed patent attorneys and 42 intellectual property attorneys. In 2019, the firm filed 1,482 patent applications locally. The ranking is reflective of Armstrong Teasdale’s growing practice across the country, with numerous IP attorneys in a range of disciplines joining the firm in Denver, New York, Philadelphia and St. Louis over the past 18 months. Nationwide, the firm has more than 100 intellectual property professionals, of whom more than 55 are patent attorneys, engineers and agents.
