Missouri Lawyers Weekly Names Casey Waughn to 2023 Up & Coming List
Casey Waughn, an associate in Armstrong Teasdale’s St. Louis office, has been named an Up & Coming Award winner by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. The awards recognize young lawyers who are making a positive difference in the practice of law in Missouri and whose outstanding contributions have them on the track for success. To be eligible for the awards, legal professionals must be 40 or younger or within their first 10 years of practice. Additional, and often more senior, lawyers are also recognized for serving as mentors.
Waughn helps clients navigate and comply with complex regulatory regimes, particularly in the data privacy, cybersecurity and white-collar spaces. She assists organizations of all sizes with responding to risk and developing compliance strategies that fit their needs. A skilled data privacy practitioner, she counsels clients to develop, implement and maintain practical privacy and data protection strategies to fit their organization’s needs. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and frequently speaks on and publishes articles about data privacy topics.
Waughn was recognized with other honorees at an event on Thursday, Oct. 12.
