Biography
Richard O’Leary is a veteran trial attorney in commercial litigation and product liability matters, including pharmaceutical and asbestos litigation. He has tried dozens of cases to verdict in federal and state courts in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and has also litigated matters in Florida. He has argued numerous appeals in federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey.
With extensive experience in asbestos litigation, Richard serves both as local counsel handling all facets of the cases and as national counsel overseeing the litigation nationwide for several of his clients, with a particular focus on the automotive industry.
Richard handles matters for clients around the world and serves as a trusted advisor for public and private companies, other entities and individuals. His trial experience includes cases involving contract claims, product liability, construction claims, fraud and telecommunications issues. He has also had substantial experience defending corporations against allegations of fraud and negligent misrepresentation.

Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Richard was a business litigation partner at another New York law firm.
