Ray Price, Paul Brusati Named to 2026 Appellate Law Power List

January 16, 2026 Firm News

Missouri Lawyers Weekly has named Armstrong Teasdale Partners William Ray Price, Jr. and Paul Brusati to its 2026 Appellate Law Power List. The list comprises the state’s top practitioners who have defended or opposed notable jury verdicts and helped to set important precedents that shape the law. The 30 attorneys on the list were selected based on review of published appellate opinions, interviews with attorneys and other leaders around the state, and archival research.

Price is a former Missouri Supreme Court Judge and holds the distinction of being the longest-serving judge on the court. He authored over 300 published opinions in that time and also served as chief justice twice. He has tried numerous jury and nonjury trials, argued numerous appeals, and served as a mediator, arbitrator, and court appointed master in various civil and administrative cases. Ray's practice has included litigation of claims involving class actions, mass torts, product liability, pharmaceutical liability, environmental regulation, land use, administrative, governmental, and complex business issues.

Brusati is an accomplished commercial and appellate litigator, with experience at every level of the Missouri appellate courts and the federal circuits. He joined the firm in 2016 after clerking for Judge Laura Denvir Stith at the Supreme Court of Missouri. Brusati has briefed and argued dozens of appeals in state and federal court, including the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Missouri Court of Appeals and the federal appellate courts. His appellate experience ranges from cases involving employment, products liability, tax, medical malpractice, family law, personal injury, real estate and insurance issues, to felony criminal appeals. In addition to his regular practice, Paul serves as Armstrong Teasdale's Assistant General Counsel, where he assists in protecting the firm's legal interests and ensuring its operations remain within the scope established by law.

Price and Brusati are profiled in the January 2026 issue of Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
