BTI Consulting Names Armstrong Teasdale an Associate Satisfaction Leader
Armstrong Teasdale announces that it has been recognized by BTI Consulting Group (BTI) as a 2022 BTI Associate Satisfaction A-Lister. BTI surveyed more than 4,000 associates to pinpoint and interpret what they want and value — and the law firms that associates rate as best at each — and why.
In particular, Armstrong Teasdale was recognized as a leader in activities associates value most in deriving high levels of job satisfaction at law firms. In addition, women associates named Armstrong Teasdale “Best of the Best” in these activities.
At Armstrong Teasdale, associates make up roughly a third of the firm’s total lawyer population internationally.
“Armstrong Teasdale has a ‘People First’ mentality, and having recently joined the firm myself, I can confirm that this is put into action – it’s not just lip service,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Julie Paul. “The teamwork-based culture is such that associates are incredibly valued and championed by their peers and more senior lawyers alike.”
The BTI report identified eight key areas in which associates are looking for support, in addition to compensation. Those areas include commitment to helping associates in their careers; specific action to help develop a career path; access to training; good mentoring; optimism about growing within their firm; high levels of job satisfaction; being well paid; and having at least one partner watching out for them.
Armstrong Teasdale also has a highly engaged Associates Committee, led by 14 lawyers across practice areas and jurisdictions, to create community, advance professional development, and advocate for various resources and needs.
