Biography
Deborah Bae is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, working to serve clients in both intellectual property litigation and patent preparation and prosecution matters. Deborah represents clients on a variety of technologies including AI, SaaS, wireless communications, data management, and fintech-related technologies as well as medical device and healthcare-related technologies.
Deborah leverages her experience as a former in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 company as well as her experience as a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to help manage and develop client patent portfolios, including advising clients on patent strategy for optimizing client patent portfolios based on client goals, product development plans and emerging technologies.
Background
Deborah previously worked as an associate in Armstrong Teasdale’s St. Louis office. Most recently, she has been a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to that, she was patent counsel at PayPal and a patent attorney at Bookoff McAndrews.
