AT Academy: Co-op and Condo Law Series - Discrimination Issues

There are numerous discrimination issues facing co-op and condo boards. These include issues involving the treatment of employees, as well as the manner in which residents are treated. But perhaps the most frequent issues arise during the admission process, especially in cooperatives where a board may reject a candidate without giving a reason. The federal, state and city levels of government each have their own list of those in protected classes, and our panelists will review them and discuss common mistakes of boards, while providing guidance to prevent claims. Q&A session to follow.
