Armstrong Teasdale Lawyers Selected for 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Programs

February 6, 2023 Press Releases

Armstrong Teasdale announces that four Armstrong Teasdale lawyers have been selected to participate in 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) programs. Partner Alexandra (Sasha) Thaler will participate in the Fellows Program. Partner Angela Kennedy and Associate Avila Zepp will participate in the Pathfinder Program.

The Fellows Program is designed for diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys at LCLD member organizations to provide Fellows with professional and personal development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities and access to LCLD members, including managing partners and general counsel.

The Pathfinder Program is designed to connect high-potential, early-career attorneys from preeminent organizations for a six- to seven-month professional development series that focuses on foundational leadership skills, professional networking and relationship-building skills, and career development strategies.

Thaler (Boston) guides company leadership and Human Resources professionals at employers across multiple industries in all aspects of employment law, from compliance through dispute resolution. She also leads the firm’s Education industry team.

Kennedy (St. Louis) has extensive experience working on business disputes at all stages of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations to appeals. She specializes in trademark and copyright cases, vindicating the rights of small business and large companies alike, and litigates a wide range of disputes in state and federal courts and before regulatory agencies and commissions.

Zepp (Miami) is a multilingual immigration lawyer with extensive experience in family- and employment-based immigration matters. She counsels clients around the world – including families and individuals, Fortune 500 companies, startups and nonprofits – on immigration strategy and has experience drafting and reviewing filings before multiple government agencies.

Armstrong Teasdale has long been involved in LCLD and other initiatives focused on advancing diversity in the profession. In 2021 and 2022, Armstrong Teasdale earned Compass and Top Performer Awards for participation in LCLD programs designed to build a more open and diverse legal profession.
