Biography
Angela Kennedy litigates complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts at trial and on appeal. She leads clients through contract disputes, intellectual property and trade secret issues, insurance and securities litigation, and administrative claims. She has also successfully advised on several mass tort and business tort matters and has a robust trademark and copyright practice.
Angela’s work includes setting aside defaults and pursuing post-trial relief where significant financial exposure is at issue. Angela frequently provides appellate consultation at trial, sharing her deep experience regarding jury instructions, error preservation, and motion practice before and after trial to ensure her clients are well-positioned for appeal.
As a former judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, she applies her understanding of judicial reasoning and practice to help clients achieve their objectives. Her creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to understanding overall business needs help her to craft innovative legal solutions.
In addition to her practice, Angela is actively involved in the community. She participates in Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts, the Missouri Bar, the Federal Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis, and frequently presents on legal topics to legal and non-legal audiences alike.
