Bob Kaiser Named a 2015 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America®
Robert A. Kaiser, an Armstrong Teasdale partner, has been named a 2015 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Employment Law - Management. The distinction, based on peer-review, is presented annually to a single stand-out lawyer in each practice area and major metropolitan area.
Listed in Best Lawyers® since 2008, Kaiser has been consistently listed in Chambers USA and Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers® Business Editions. Kaiser was also named a Top Rated Lawyer in Labor & Employment by Martindale-Hubbell and American Lawyer Media (ALM) in 2013.
In his law practice, Kaiser represents emerging and mature businesses in the full range of labor and personnel-related disputes, complicated business deals, executive employment agreements, compensation plans, change-in-control agreements, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, helping them to assess risks and decrease litigation. He is a skilled litigator in defending management throughout the country before administrative agencies and courts concerning claims involving discrimination and wrongful discharge. In the much litigated and complex area involving wage and hour laws, he assists clients in both individual and collective actions lawsuits involving denial of overtime pay and misclassification of employees. A portion of Bob’s practice includes traditional labor law, a focus he has had for more than 25 years.
Kaiser earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and A.B. from the University of Missouri. He is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois, before the United States Supreme Court, Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh, Eighth and Tenth Circuits and U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Missouri.
