Greg Deschler, Angela Kennedy Named Up & Coming Lawyers
Missouri Lawyers Weekly has named Armstrong Teasdale Partner Gregory D. Deschler and Senior Associate Angela Kennedy among its 2022 Up & Coming Award recipients. The awards recognize young lawyers who are making a positive difference in the practice of law in Missouri and whose outstanding contributions have them on the track for success.
Deschler, a member of the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group, has extensive experience representing public and private entities on publicly offered and privately placed tax-exempt and taxable financings, guiding clients through the deal from start to close as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, developer’s counsel, and company/borrower’s counsel. He has negotiated adjacent incentives and handled related real estate components. He also represents banks as lender’s counsel on commercial and construction financings.
A member of the Litigation practice group, Kennedy has handled a wide range of disputes in both state and federal courts, including contract disputes, business torts, trademark infringement, matters involving noncompete and nonsolicitation clauses, and insurance and securities litigation. She represents public and private companies, individuals, and family-run businesses alike, and her creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to understanding overall business needs help her to craft innovative legal solutions.
