Karrie Clinkinbeard Listed in Women Who Mean Business
Karrie Clinkinbeard, partner and office managing attorney for Armstrong Teasdale’s Kansas City, Missouri, office, has been chosen by the Kansas City Business Journal for its 2019 Women Who Mean Business list. Now in its 20th year, the list recognizes women who are leaders in their field, have made significant contributions to the business community, and have given back to the community through philanthropy.
A six-judge panel selected this year’s 25 honorees, who must be an entrepreneur, the highest-ranking woman or highest-ranking woman reporting to a female CEO, or a partner leading a practice group or serving on an executive committee to be eligible for the recognition.
An experienced litigator with substantial trial experience across the Midwest, Clinkinbeard focuses her practice on fire, explosion and electrocution litigation, toxic torts and catastrophic incidents, product liability, contract disputes, personal injury and life, health and disability matters. Her numerous successes include her role as co-lead counsel in a furnace explosion case that generated the largest 2014 defense verdict in Missouri. She takes an active mentoring role in the firm and is very involved in the Greater Kansas City community.
Clinkinbeard will be profiled along with other honorees in the Aug. 23 edition of the paper and celebrated at a luncheon at the Overland Park Convention Center.
