Klahr, McPherson Recognized in 2023 Missouri Lawyers Awards
Armstrong Teasdale Partners Robert Klahr and Jeffery McPherson have been recognized by Missouri Lawyers Media among the 2023 Missouri Lawyers Award recipients. The Awards recognize lawyers who made an impact in the year just completed. This includes the winners of the top verdicts, influential appellate advocates and champions, law firm leaders and the lawyer of the year.
Klahr was recognized in the Law Firm Leader category, which is awarded to chairpersons, managing partners or other law firm executives who demonstrated extraordinary vision, innovation and leadership during the year. McPherson was recognized in the Influential Appellate Advocates, along with David McCain of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, for fending off a novel effort to hold a law firm liable for allegedly aiding an employer in discriminating against a man.
Klahr is leader of the Financial and Real Estate Services practice group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of public-private real estate development and municipal finance. Klahr uses innovative public financing to structure complex deals that enable his clients to achieve their objectives.
McPherson has represented clients in over 200 appeals of all kinds since 1995, including over 30 appeals in the Missouri Supreme Court and over 100 appeals in the Missouri Court of Appeals. He has presented more than 80 oral arguments in appeals before state and federal courts, including every Missouri appellate court.
Klahr and McPherson will be recognized at a luncheon Feb. 9 in St. Louis.
