Scott Galt Earns Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe Credential
Scott Galt has earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Developed and launched by the IAPP with leading subject matter experts, the CIPP is the world’s first broad-based global privacy and data protection credentialing program.
The CIPP/E encompasses pan-European and national data protection laws, the European model for privacy enforcement, key privacy terminology and practical concepts concerning the protection of personal data and trans-border data flows. In his practice, Galt handles international compliance issues and global transactions for foreign and domestic companies in a wide variety of industries, as well as acts as national litigation counsel for a number of regional clients. He earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and his M.A. in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Scott is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois.
