Biography
Rose is a registered patent agent in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. She provides support in an effort to efficiently see a patent application through to issue and has a keen understanding of patent law and the patent application process.
Working with clients in industries dealing with payment processing systems, packaging products and machinery, electric motors, medical devices and imaging technology and computer-related matters, Rose oversees the full life cycle development of patents. She interprets and documents the scope of inventions and ensures there are no issues with regard to existing patent infringement.
Rose is further involved with creating all relevant materials for a patent application, including drafting applications and conducting patentability and clearance searches. Rose further assists with the prosecution of applications, including drafting responses to Office Actions and with post-grant administration, including patent term reviews. She is also responsible for maintaining global patent families for small and midlevel clients.
Rose is also involved in Armstrong Teasdale’s inclusion and diversity efforts. She has served on task forces to implement specific inclusion initiatives within the firm and has been appointed to serve on the Inclusion Committee.
