Biography
Tracy Jacobson advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and other businesses on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. She leads complex deals from initial structuring and negotiation through closing, providing practical, business-focused counsel at each stage of a transaction.
Tracy represents clients across a range of industries, including technology, health care, and other highly regulated spaces. In addition to her transactional practice, she serves as a trusted adviser and outside counsel to businesses and their leadership teams, counseling them on corporate governance, commercial matters, strategy, and risk.
Clients rely on Tracy not only to execute complex transactions, but also to provide thoughtful, pragmatic advice as their businesses grow and evolve.

Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Tracy was a shareholder at another Chicago law firm. Before that, she was chief legal and compliance officer of a leading private equity–sponsored dental support organization where she led their legal acquisition strategy.
