Jack Quinn currently concentrates his practice in the areas of intellectual property litigation, business and commercial litigation, employment law litigation, and general civil practice. He is Co-Leader of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group.

Jack is a member of the Litigation practice group in the St. Louis office. In 1996-97, he served as President for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. In addition to his extensive general civil trial practice, he has had a number of trials in the area of trademark and patents, employment and civil rights cases, as well as business tort and contract litigation. He was co-counsel for one of the parties in a fifty-three day patent and trade secret trial in the United States District Court.

Jack was a trial counsel on behalf of an inventor/patentee in the trial and appeal of a multimillion-dollar jury verdict in favor of our client who had not been paid all of his patent license royalties. He has represented one of our clients in a series of cases relating to the protection of copyrighted computer software, including a trial in Miami, Florida regarding the protection of user interface rights. Jack was lead counsel in a reverse confusion trademark action against the NBA seeking to protect our client's rights in the trademark DREAM TEAM. He has tried cases involving patents and significant tort cases (including a successful defense of a client in a products liability which was selected as the top defense verdict in Missouri in 1999). He has represented clients in patent cases in Missouri, Illinois, California, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Washington, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, and Florida. Recently, in addition to his work on IP cases, he obtained a summary judgment for one of the nation's largest utilities in a dispute over a long-term and supply agreement. Jack also represents our clients in covenant-not-to-compete trials.
