Biography
Alex Nelson is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group where he guides clients in safeguarding their inventions. With a background as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, he has patent prosecution experience in the life sciences and mechanical arts, including chemical, biologics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and corresponding methods and apparatuses.
Alex has experience conducting patent searches, freedom-to-operate analyses and opinion searches, managing patent families and drafting new patents and continuing applications and amendments.
