St. Louis Litigation Partner Jeff Schultz Featured in the St. Louis Business Journal

November 8, 2016 Media Coverage

St. Louis Litigation partner Jeff Schultz took part in a St. Louis Business Journal Table of Experts discussion on data security, which shed light on the risks and vulnerabilities that commercial enterprises face in an ever-evolving technology landscape. Topics ranged from the commercial sector’s lag in adopting cybersecurity measures, vulnerabilities inherent in the Internet of Things and the risks from a company’s own employees, to the importance of nondisclosure and noncompete agreements.

Jeff is an experienced business litigator with extensive knowledge of data security and privacy. He’s co-chair of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security practice and former chair of The Missouri Bar’s Technology and Computer Law Committee. Jeff is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

He represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including those involving the misappropriation of trade secrets, computer tampering, nondisclosure and noncompete agreements, commercial contracts, shareholder disputes and social networking law.

The eight-page feature appeared in the Business Journal’s Nov. 4 issue. To read the full story, click here.

Hasman on education. Kansas City Litigation partner Dione Greene was featured in the Kansas City Business Journal on employment.
