With the ever-increasing costs of litigation, companies are looking to alternative methods of dispute resolution, or ADR. This presentation will highlight alternatives to traditional litigation for in-house counsel to consider, including mediation, arbitration and court-sponsored short-trial programs. The nature and complexity of the dispute, urgency of the problem and costs are all considerations when determining whether to use ADR. Our presenters will discuss the pros, cons and suitability of each ADR method along with recent case law.
