Monte Mann Quoted in AmLaw Litigation Daily on Musk’s Compensation Appeal
A Tesla shareholder’s challenge to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s $56 billion compensation plan has reached the Delaware Supreme Court, which heard arguments on Oct. 16. Armstrong Teasdale Partner Monte Mann told AmLaw Litigation Daily that he’s most interested in seeing the court address what constitutes a “controlling shareholder” and an “independent director.” Mann explained these two decisions alone will have a huge impact in boardrooms and courtrooms across the nation.
