Armstrong Teasdale Advises VSA Capital Group plc on Admission to the AQUIS Growth Market
Armstrong Teasdale’s U.K. Capital Markets team advised VSA Capital Group plc (“VSA Capital”) on the admission of its ordinary shares to trading on the Access segment of the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market (“AQSE”).
The listing is another step forward in VSA Capital’s growth strategy, which includes: 1) helping to raise the public profile of VSA Capital; 2) demonstrating its commitment to the fast-growing Aquis Growth Market; 3) providing a potential currency for acquisitions for use, should suitable opportunities arise in future; and 4) providing an opportunity for others to share in the future success of VSA Capital.
An international investment banking and brokerage firm with offices in London, England, and Shanghai, China, VSA Capital provides corporate finance, advisory and capital markets services to private and public companies. VSA’s focus is on providing an independent, solutions-driven service to clients across multiple sectors with a particular focus on natural resources, transitional energy, alternative energy, technology, media and telecoms (TMT) and the consumer and leisure sectors.
VSA Capital acts as retained adviser or broker to listed or quoted companies on various exchanges, and many of its clients are capitalised at over £100 million.
VSA Capital's longstanding focus on the natural resources sector has resulted in long-lasting and deep relationships across the world, particularly in Asia and Africa, as well as a strong understanding of the cultural nuances associated with doing business in each. This sector focus has meant that VSA Capital has been an early mover in the transitional energy space and has leading expertise in executing capital markets strategies across the full battery storage supply chain.
Joan Yu, Head of U.K. Capital Markets at Armstrong Teasdale, commented: “We are delighted to have advised VSA Capital on its admission to the AQSE Growth Market. We look forward to the Company’s future growth and success.”
The London Armstrong Teasdale team was led by Yu.
Andrew Raca, Head of Corporate Finance at VSA Capital, said: “We wanted to work with a firm that we knew understood our business and could quickly work with us to navigate some complex restructuring issues. Choosing to work with Joan Yu and her team at Armstrong Teasdale was a no-brainer; she’s outstanding.”
