Armstrong Teasdale Moves into New Jefferson City Office Space
International law firm and its affiliate, AT Government Strategies, relocate to downtown government complex
Armstrong Teasdale announces that effective Sept. 27, 2021, its Jefferson City, Missouri, office has moved into a new space at 101 E. High Street on the first floor, just two blocks from the Capitol building. In 1998, the firm planted a flag in Jefferson City and has since occupied space on West Truman Boulevard. Armstrong Teasdale’s long-standing presence in the state capital is indicative of the firm’s commitment to and depth of experience handling matters involving government relations and public policy. The space will also house AT Government Strategies (ATGS), a subsidiary of Armstrong Teasdale LLP that provides non-legal government and regulatory affairs services.
Attorneys in Armstrong Teasdale’s Government Relations and Public Policy practice area have a wide range of experience representing clients before government agencies at the local, state and federal levels. Our experienced attorneys have varied backgrounds in government affairs and politics, and regularly counsel clients on matters related to bid protests and procurement, government contracts, immigration, public finance, securities regulation, insurance coverage and regulation, professional licensing, industrial security and security clearance, environmental law, medical marijuana licensing and regulation, disputes with government agencies and Certificate of Need (CON) matters specific to health care facilities.
ATGS includes both attorneys and skilled professionals with decades of experience in public service. The public affairs, lobbying and consulting group provides full-service government relations and strategic counsel to advance the business objectives of companies, industry associations and other professional entities.
Jefferson City Office Managing Attorney Matt Kitzi has extensive public service experience, highlighted by his seven-year tenure as Missouri Commissioner of Securities. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue building on our strong presence in Jefferson City from this new space downtown, in close proximity to the Capitol,” said Kitzi. “This is an important strategic location for us, and we’re proud to be a part of Jefferson City’s past, present and future, as well as to continue investing in our team here.”
The firm’s local attorneys also provide robust litigation, financial services and real estate counsel to clients across the country.
The historic and recently renovated space features the same visual and design elements as other firm offices around the world, including the use of natural light, the firm’s signature red accents and wavy wood walls. The inviting space also includes conference rooms, collaboration space and room to grow.
