Braswell, Weaver, Price Recognized with 2020 Missouri Lawyers Awards
Missouri Lawyers Weekly has selected Armstrong Teasdale Managing Partner David Braswell and Litigation Partners Tom Weaver and Ray Price for its 2020 Missouri Lawyers Awards. The annual honors recognize lawyers who made an impact in the year just completed, including the winners of the top verdicts, influential appellate advocates and champions, law firm leaders and the Lawyer of the Year.
Braswell was recognized in the Law Firm Leader category, honoring chairpersons, managing partners or other law firm executives who demonstrated extraordinary vision, innovation and leadership during the year. The publication highlighted his leadership in redefining the firm’s strategic goals and growth across the country.
Weaver and Price were both named in the Influential Appellate Advocates category, awarded to the lawyers behind the most significant appellate decisions of the year. Weaver was recognized for persuading the Eastern District of Missouri to cut in half one of the biggest jury verdicts in Missouri history, and Price for winning a long-awaited and closely divided ruling in the Supreme Court preventing a new trial against his clients.
Braswell, Weaver and Price are among 27 lawyers and judges to be honored at the Missouri Lawyers Awards in a virtual award ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 11. They will also be profiled in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
