Gregory Iken Named to Board of St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts
Gregory Iken, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation practice group, has been named to the board of directors of St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts (VLAA).
Founded in 1982, VLAA offers legal help to artists of every discipline and career level. “My interest in VLAA began in high school when my top two career choices were being an actor and being an attorney,” Iken said. “While in college, I worked with Chicago’s Lawyers for the Creative Arts when considering opening a theatre company with some friends. Having viewed VLAA from the perspective of both an artist needing assistance and an attorney looking to assist others, I am extremely excited to be a part of this great organization.”
In his law practice, Iken focuses on mass tort litigation with a specialty in asbestos defense. He received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and B.S. from Northwestern University. Iken is licensed in Missouri, Illinois and Nevada.
