Biography
Blake Chrismer is a litigation attorney in Armstrong Teasdale’s Intellectual Property practice. He is skilled at drafting dispositive motions, evaluating claims and defenses, and completing discovery requests, pleadings and legal research. He applies these practical litigation skills to his wealth of knowledge in intellectual property law in order to protect, defend, and enforce clients’ creations—copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Blake is particularly experienced in managing copyright matters, such as handling takedown notices and related monetary demands, evaluating the scope of protection afforded to copyrighted works, analyzing infringement, and drafting work made for hire and licensing agreements. His diverse IP practice further spans patent litigation concerning technology of mass-produced consumer goods.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Blake was a summer associate and law clerk at other law firms focused on high-stakes, complex litigation. He also served as a student extern for Magistrate Judge Jodi F. Jayne in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
