Biography
Bradley Thomas focuses his practice on the acquisition, management and enforcement of intellectual property including patents, trademarks and copyrights, as well as brand building through intellectual property.
Bradley leverages his background in electrical engineering combined with significant experience as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to guide clients through the process of safeguarding their IP assets. He is skilled at preparing and prosecuting patent, copyright and trademark applications before the USPTO, U.S. Copyright Office and foreign patent offices. He prepares and argues appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and the U.S. Copyright Review Board. He also provides clients with strategic advice and counsel on matters relating to branding, licensing, contracts and compliance.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Bradley was in-house counsel at a St. Louis multimedia animation and gaming company. Before that, he was an intellectual property and patent attorney at other St. Louis area law firms. In addition, Bradley was a patent examiner at the USPTO for more than eight years.
