Armstrong Teasdale Promotes 6 Attorneys, 22 Income Partners to Profit-Sharing Partnership
National law firm Armstrong Teasdale LLP has announced the promotion of six attorneys—Counsels Halle Dimar and John Thornton; senior associates Michael Carwin, Rhys Williams and Avila Zepp; and associate Richard Cole—into the firm’s profit-sharing partnership tier. The firm also promoted 22 existing income partners into the profit-sharing tier. Promotions were effective as of January 1, 2026.
Introduced at the beginning of 2025, Armstrong Teasdale’s profit-sharing partnership represents a departure from the traditional two-tier partnership structure common in the legal industry. Designed to broaden pathways to leadership, the tier allows attorneys to share in the firm’s financial success without exposure to losses.
“All of the attorneys being promoted have proven invaluable to the success of Armstrong Teasdale,” said Managing Partner Richard W. Engel, Jr. “The breadth and depth of their experience spans industry sectors, practice areas and geographies. Each attorney is greatly deserving of entering this new tier of partnership, and they are poised to continue driving the success of the firm for years to come.”
