Armstrong Teasdale Adds Lawyers to Litigation Practice
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Senior Associate Jenna M. Lakamp and Associate Meredith Grant to the firm’s Litigation practice group.
Lakamp (St. Louis) focuses her practice in the areas of employment and education. She represents both private and public companies of all sizes in a variety of employment-related disputes. She regularly litigates in both state and federal court in Missouri and Illinois, and has extensive experience with complex e-discovery issues. Lakamp also provides counseling to clients on day-to-day employment matters, with the goal of preventing litigation. Using her experiences as a litigator, she has also conducted both internal and external investigations for clients into claims of discrimination and hostile workplace practices.
Grant (Denver) advises companies of all sizes on a range of employment-related matters, including compliance with respect to hiring, firing, investigating workplace misconduct, drug and alcohol testing, accommodating disabilities and religious practices, and conducting employment-related background checks. She also defends companies against claims of discrimination, retaliation and harassment in state and federal litigation, as well as administrative actions. Grant’s experience includes drafting and auditing multistate employee handbooks for national clients, crafting employment, separation and release agreements, and providing deal support on employment-related matters in mergers and acquisitions.
