Armstrong Teasdale Announces Newly Elected Committee Members
Armstrong Teasdale has elected two new members to its Executive and Compensation Committees, effective June 1, 2026.
Elected to the Executive Committee, which functions as the firm’s governing board, is Partner Jennifer Byrne, for a three-year term. Gregory Ramos and Richard Brophy were reelected to the committee. In addition, Partner Erin Florek was elected to the Compensation Committee for a three-year term, and Tyson Ketchum was reelected. The Compensation Committee is responsible for the allocation of compensation to firm equity partners.
“These committees serve critical roles in the success of the firm and its people,” said Managing Partner Richard Engel. “The attorneys elected and reelected have demonstrated a real commitment to Armstrong Teasdale’s future, and I am excited to see how they continue to grow in these roles.”
Byrne has been with Armstrong Teasdale since 2012 and focuses her legal practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance, emerging companies and corporate governance across industry sectors. She returned to her practice full time in 2025 after leading the Corporate Services practice group since 2020.
Florek, a partner in the Intellectual Property group, counsels clients on freedom-to-operate, patent infringement, patentability, and due diligence issues, regularly preparing noninfringement and invalidity opinions and assisting in litigation analysis and inter partes review proceedings.
Armstrong Teasdale committee members serve staggered three-year terms, structured so that not all positions are considered for reelection at the same time. The Executive and Compensation Committees have ten voting members and nine voting members, respectively.
